We were burning £4k/month on a comparison platform. Three months after ADVRTISE built our system, our cost-per-instruction was down 62% and the leads were actually ours.
We build surveying firms their own lead machine
without ongoing retainers or shared leads
For chartered surveyors who want exclusive, pre-qualified enquiries, and a system they actually own.
Cost-per-instruction down 62% in three months. The leads are actually ours now.
I run the campaigns myself now. No retainer. No mystery.
Finally exclusive leads. Pipeline is the most predictable it's been in eight years.
Surveying people first, marketers second. Didn't need to explain what a HomeBuyer Report is.
Built in four weeks. Live and converting in week five. Exactly as promised.
Comparison sites felt like a landlord who kept raising the rent. Should have done this two years ago.

Why this works
Built by the team that already runs a surveying lead platform. We know exactly what converts, and what doesn't.
Surveying ad spend managed
Our campaign structure has been tested and refined across hundreds of thousands of pounds of surveying-specific ad spend.
Marketing team that gets surveying
Our team have worked in surveying. They understand the terminology, the intent, and the seasonal demand. No generalists learning on your budget.
Experience running comparison sites
We run one of the UK's fastest-growing surveying lead platforms, FindMySurveyor. We see the numbers every day: what firms spend, what converts, and where the money gets wasted.

Surveying firms that ditched comparison sites and built their own pipeline.
The handover session was the bit I was nervous about, but they showed me exactly how the campaigns work. I run them myself now. No retainer. No mystery.
Finally exclusive leads. No more bidding against three other firms for the same homeowner. Pipeline is the most predictable it's been in eight years.
What I appreciated: they're surveying people first, marketers second. Didn't need to explain what a HomeBuyer Report is or why instructions cluster around school transfer dates.
Built in four weeks like they said. Live and converting in week five. The qualification questionnaire alone has saved us hours every week filtering tyre-kickers.
Comparison sites felt like renting from a landlord who kept raising the rent. Now we have our own asset. Should have done this two years ago.
Questions from real discovery calls
The things surveying firms actually ask us before they get started. If yours isn't here, bring it to the call.
Is this right for our firm?
How is this different from a comparison site like Local Surveyors Direct or Compare My Move?
The fundamental difference is ownership. Comparison sites sell the same enquiry to four or five firms at once, which means you're competing on price from the moment the phone rings. We build you a system that generates leads exclusively for your firm: your website, your campaigns, your data. The leads go to you and only you.
The other difference is the maths. Comparison sites need to sell each lead multiple times to make their unit economics work, so a £20 lead becomes £200 of revenue for them. When you own your own pipeline, you cut out that middleman entirely.
We’ve tried Google Ads before and it didn’t work. Why is this different?
This is the most common thing we hear, and it's almost always for the same reasons: campaigns set up without proper landing pages, no surveying-specific keyword research, no conversion tracking to know what's actually working, and budget burned during the learning phase.
We don't start from scratch. Our campaign structure has been tested and refined across hundreds of thousands of pounds of surveying-specific ad spend, so you skip the expensive learning phase entirely. Your traffic also lands on pages built specifically to convert, typically converting around 30%, versus 1 to 3% on a standard surveyor website.
We already have an SEO company, web designer or agency. Why would we move?
You probably don't need to move. Most firms work with us alongside their existing setup, particularly if they have an SEO retainer. SEO and paid traffic do different things: SEO is a long game that builds organic visibility over months, and paid is a short game that brings leads in tomorrow.
Where we add the most value is in the bit that usually falls between providers: the landing pages and conversion infrastructure that turn ad clicks into actual phone calls. Most website agencies build for aesthetics, not conversion. Most ad agencies don't touch the website. We bridge that gap.
What if it doesn’t work for my firm?
Honest answer: we won't take on every firm that approaches us. The discovery call is partly for us to make sure your business is set up to benefit from this. If you're spending nothing on lead generation at all, or you're brand new with no track record, or your area is so small the ad volume doesn't justify the setup, we'll tell you.
For firms that are a fit, the system works because the unit economics are predictable. We know what surveying leads cost in different geographies, what they convert at, and what makes a good campaign structure. None of that is guesswork.
Leads, survey types and results
What survey types does this work for?
Anything you'd want to generate leads for. The most common ones we build campaigns around are Level 2 HomeBuyer Reports, Level 3 Building Surveys, Help to Buy valuations, probate and capital gains valuations, matrimonial valuations, leasehold extension valuations, and commercial surveys. We can also build for specialist niches like party walls, dilapidations, EPCs, or anything else you offer.
The advantage of running it yourself is that you can dial spend up and down across these as the market shifts. When Help to Buy is hot, push budget there. When probate work picks up, shift the mix.
Do leads come straight to me, or through your system?
Straight to you. Every enquiry lands in your inbox the moment someone submits the form. We're not the middleman: we don't hold the leads, we don't filter them, and we don't sit between you and the prospect.
If you use a CRM like Survey Booker, we can route leads directly into your existing pipeline so they slot into your workflow with no extra admin.
How does the qualification work? I don’t want to be flooded with tyre-kickers.
Every landing page has a built-in qualification questionnaire. Before anyone gets to submit, they've answered questions about property type, location, survey type and timeline. That filters out the people who aren't job-ready and gives you the context you need before you pick up the phone.
In practice it means you spend less time on initial calls finding out the basics, and more time talking to people who are genuinely ready to instruct.
How quickly can we expect leads to start coming in?
Once the system is live (typically four weeks from kickoff), leads start coming in within days. Google Ads is fast, with no wait for organic rankings involved. We see most clients getting their first qualified enquiry inside the first week of going live.
How many you get depends on your budget, geography and survey type mix. We'll talk through realistic expectations specific to your firm on the discovery call.
How much do I need to spend on ads?
This depends on which survey types you're targeting and how busy you want to be. As a rough guide, we typically see independent valuations (probate, CGT, Help to Buy) at £5 to £15 per lead, and Level 2 or Level 3 surveys at £25 to £40 per lead.
Most firms start with a daily budget of £20 to £50 and scale based on what's working. You can turn it up, down, or off whenever you want. There's no ongoing commitment to ad spend.
Ownership, management and the team
Do I actually own the website and campaigns when it’s done?
Yes, completely. The Google Ads account is built in your name with you as the owner, so you can revoke our access at any moment. The website lives on your hosting under your domain. The data, the tracking pixels and the keyword strategies are all yours. We don't hold anything hostage.
This is the single biggest difference between this and an agency retainer. When you stop paying an agency, they switch off your campaigns and you walk away with nothing. When the build is finished here, you walk away with a complete asset that keeps working.
Is there a contract or any ongoing commitment?
There's a one-off project agreement for the build, and that's it. No retainer, no ongoing monthly fees, and no minimum term. Once the system is delivered and handed over, your only ongoing cost is your ad spend, which goes directly to Google.
Do I have to manage the ads myself afterwards?
You don't have to, but you can. The system is designed to be manageable by someone without a marketing background: turn campaigns on and off, adjust daily budgets, and see which surveys are bringing in the most enquiries.
If you'd prefer not to touch any of it, we offer an optional monthly retainer for ongoing management and optimisation. It's genuinely optional, with no lock-in, and most clients run it themselves after the first few months once they're comfortable.
What does the team look like? Who actually builds this?
A small, experienced team. The paid media managers are all ex-RICS, so they've worked inside surveying and understand the terminology, the seasonal patterns, and what a qualified surveying lead actually looks like. The developers and conversion specialists handle the website and landing page builds. The whole thing is run hands-on by the founders, so you're not handed off to a junior account manager once the deal is signed.
Stop renting leads. Start owning them.
